Pixelle-Video: An AI Engine That Builds Short Videos From a Single Prompt

If you want to make short videos but do not know how to edit, Pixelle-Video tries to turn the entire production pipeline into a single prompt.

What it is

Pixelle-Video is not just a text-to-video model. It is a fully automated short video engine. You enter a topic, and the system takes over: it writes a script, plans out each scene, generates images or video clips for each segment, creates a voiceover, adds background music, and composes everything into a finished video. The entire pipeline, from idea to final output, is automated.

The project supports multiple visual templates, portrait and landscape dimensions, custom media uploads with AI-powered analysis, and a Motion Transfer pipeline where you upload a reference video and an image to transfer motion. It runs as a local deployment with a web UI, and it has racked up over 20,000 GitHub stars, which is a strong signal that the community is paying attention to automated video creation.

Why it matters

• It targets non-editors. You do not need to open a complex timeline or learn video editing software to get a first draft.
• It handles the full pipeline: script, visuals, voiceover, background music, and composition, not just one piece.
• It supports dynamic video models including WAN 2.1, so the visual output is not limited to static images.
• Custom media upload and Motion Transfer open up creative possibilities beyond text-to-video, letting you bring your own assets into the pipeline.
• The high star count on GitHub suggests this direction of automated content creation is resonating with creators.

How it works

The workflow is straightforward. You input a topic or prompt. The AI generates a script, breaks it into scenes, and plans the visual flow. For each scene, it generates an image or a short video clip using integrated generation models. It then generates a voiceover from the script using text-to-speech, adds background music, applies a visual template, and composes everything into a final video file. You can upload your own media for the AI to analyze and incorporate, and you can use Motion Transfer to apply the motion from a reference video to a generated image.

The system is designed to run locally with a web UI, which means you control the pipeline and the outputs without depending on a cloud service.

Caveats

Pixelle-Video does not replace a professional editor. The final quality depends on which generation models you use, how well you write the prompt, which template you choose, the quality of the TTS voice, the background music, and whether you do any manual editing afterward. It is best understood as a tool for creating drafts, testing ideas quickly, and building a near-automatic short video pipeline. If you need polished, brand-grade video, you will still need to edit.
